Popis

Czech weekly ice hockey camps with accommodation - we organize in the Czech Republic. We specialize in defenders, attackers and goaltenders of all age categories from 4 to 21 years. The principle of weekly ice hockey camps is to lead the player better and in the right way on and off the ice. Hockey camps by the Ice Hockey Agency Surpass do not interfere with the teams training schedules. It is not our intention to develop more physical load on the player than is within the parent club.

With us, the player is guided comprehensively both in the field of playing skills and skating technique - powerskating, and especially in the field of health exercises.

Ice hockey is a physically demanding sport and it is important to pay particular attention to medical and compensation exercises. Each player has from an early age, their habits which are hard to remove later on. Since the young age, health problems caused by poor posture, back, groin and joints pain are emerging in players. Hockey training from the Ice Hockey Agency Surpass, are focused on this issue, particularly on health and compensation exercises.

During the ice hockey camps in addition to the health exercises, we also put emphasis on skating technique, keeping the puck right - stickhandling, passing and shooting. The third important pillar is the development of players psychology.

Over many years of the Surpass ice hockey training sessions, we have a significant experience with the guidance of training sessions under the supervision of experienced coaches with international experience.

The head coach and methodologist of the Ice Hockey Agency Surpass is a world renowned coach Sean Skinner. Renowned overseas coach with more than twenty years of experience who is in the hockey world dubbed as the "stickhandling guru". Sean Skinner has collaborated for example with Russian star - Alexander Ovechkin and other NHL stars.

About the Pilsen

The royal city of Pilsen was founded in 1295 by Wenceslas II at the confluence of four rivers – the Úhlava, Úslava, Radbuza and Mže. Its advantageous location at the crossroads of major trade routes contributed to the rapid economic development of the city, which soon became a centre of cultural and humanistic traditions. The high cultural and social level of the city is reflected in its unique building development. Valuable monuments include the Gothic St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral, the Renaissance town hall, a Franciscan monastery and a Jewish synagogue. During the age of industrialization in the 19th century, industrial giants, including the Skoda engineering complex and world-famous Pilsner Urquell brewery, were founded in the city. The founding of the University of West Bohemia and a bishopric added further cultural and spiritual dimensions to the city.

Today, Pilsen is the dynamic and modern metropolis of western Bohemia. It is home to many major firms and industrial companies, universities and medical schools. It has an extensive network of hotels and restaurants, as well as a rich cultural and sports programme and well-developed tourist infrastructure. Its exceptional quality was confirmed when it earned the title European Capital of Culture for 2015.

Pilsen covers 138 km2, and with nearly 170 thousand inhabitants, it is the fourth largest city in the Czech Republic.
